MARINETTE – The University of Wisconsin-Marshfield/Wood County women’s basketball team dropped its record to 10-4 with a 65-57 loss at UW-Marinette on Wednesday.

Paige Albrecht scored 18 points, Marissa Draxler had 16 points, and Heather Adrian scored 16 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for the Marauders.

Marauders coach Rhonda Keding praised the play of Bailey Klieforth and Adrian, but said the game came down to Marshfield’s inability to rebound.

“We didn’t box out on the defensive end and we didn’t get physical to get offensive rebounds,” Keding said.

Marshfield plays at UW-Rock County on Saturday.
