Marshfield Chaparrals rally with four runs in 8th to beat Tilden

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Chaparrals baseball team rallied late again, scoring four runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to beat the Tilden Tigers 8-4 on Friday night at Jack Hackman Field.

Bobby Gregorich continued his torrid start to the season for the Chaps (5-1), going 2-for-4 with two doubles, two runs scored and five RBIs. Dylan McHugh, Josh Barnes and Eric Pritzl each had two hits for Marshfield.

Josh Coyer earned the win with two scoreless innings of relief.

Marshfield hosts Spooner on Saturday and Coon Valley on Sunday. Both games start at noon at Hackman Field.
