CADOTT – The Marshfield girls golf team opened its Clover Valley Golf League schedule Thursday by taking third at the first conference meet of the season at Whispering Pines Golf Club. Stanley-Boyd hosted the event.
Molly Field and Macy Fitzgerald paced Marshfield with 96s, which tied with Haleigh Eisfeldt of Neillsville for ninth.
Marshfield had a team score of 409, taking third behind Osseo-Fairchild (344) and Eau Claire Regis (372).
Jordan Fitzgerald added a 108 and Anna Jensen had a 109 to round out the Tigers’ scoring.
Kimmie Kittleson of Osseo-Fairchild had an 82 to beat teammate Danielle Langner by one shot to win meet medalist honors.
Marshfield plays at the Wisconsin Rapids Invitational on Sunday and Monday at the Ridges.
