MADISON – The 2012 WIAA State Girls Team Tennis Tournament will be held Friday and Saturday, Oct. 19-20, at the Nielsen Tennis Stadium on the University of Wisconsin campus.
The 19th annual tournament starts Friday at 5:30 p.m. with Division 1 quarterfinals and continues through championship matches in two divisions on Saturday afternoon.
Mequon Homestead won its fourth straight Division 1 team title last year and is back to defend those titles.
University School of Milwaukee also returns to defend its Division 2 championship.
Tickets for the tournament are $6 for all spectators and are available at the door.
