WESTON – D.C. Everest handed the Marshfield boys basketball team its first Wisconsin Valley Conference loss, beating the Tigers 46-31 on Friday night at D.C. Everest High School.
Luke Olson scored 14 points to lead Marshfield, which falls to 3-3 overall and 2-1 in the WVC. Everest improves to 4-3 and 3-1 in the conference.
Marshfield plays at Stevens Point on Thursday.
Olson hit four 3-pointers and made five of the Tigers’ 11 field goals in the game. Marshfield was just 11 of 34 overall shooting.
D.C. Everest pulled away in the second half, outscoring the Tigers 26-17.
