MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield volleyball team will be hosting a fundraiser Saturday for former player Tracey (Schulz) Fox, who recently found out she has Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

The fundraiser coincides with the Marshfield Volleyball Invitational, a six-team, round-robin tournament that will be held at Marshfield High School starting at 9 a.m. and running until approximately 3 p.m.

Fox graded from Marshfield High School in 2004 and was part of the Tigers’ Wisconsin Valley Conference championship and WIAA state tournament qualifying team in 2003.

Money will be donated from concessions sold and from 50/50 raffles throughout the tournament to help Fox pay for her medical expenses. Scotty’s Pizza and Arby’s have donated food to be sold at the tournament.

Teams participating include Altoona, Marshfield, Medford, Rhinelander, Superior and Wauwatosa West.
