MARATHON – The Stratford football team avenged its only loss of the season, pounding Marathon 35-6 in a WIAA Division 5 Level 1 playoff game Friday night at Marathon High School.
Marathon handed Stratford it’s only blemish on its record, 13-0, in a Marawood Conference game earlier in the season.
Stratford (9-1) will host No. 1 seed Arcadia (10-0) next Friday or Saturday at Tiger Stadium. A date and time will be announced by Monday.
