BRUSSELS – Auburndale nearly pulled off a huge upset but fell to undefeated Algoma by a touchdown, losing 22-15 in a WIAA Division 6 Level 1 football playoff game Friday night at Southern Door High School.
Algoma (9-0) will play Iola-Scandinavia (8-2) in a Level 2 game at Southern Door next Friday or Saturday. A date and time will be announced by Monday.
Auburndale finishes its season with a 4-6 record.
