Auburndale softball held to one hit in loss to Marathon

AUBURNDALE – The Auburndale softball team was held to one hit and dropped a 12-1 decision to first-place Marathon in a Marawood Conference South Division game Monday at Auburndale High School.

Marathon is now 5-2 overall and 5-0 in the Marawood South. Auburndale remains winless at 0-9 and 0-5 in the conference.

Kaeden Dvorak had Auburndale’s lone hit.

The Apaches play at Pittsville on Tuesday.
