GRANTON – Spencer scored in all six innings and four pitchers combined on a one-hit shutout as the Rockets rolled to a 13-0 win over Granton in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division baseball game Tuesday at Granton High School.
Alex Brostowitz three three innings, striking out six, to earn the victory for Spencer (13-2, 12-2 Cloverbelt East). Matt Ivacic, Bobby Pilz and Calvin Lenz each tossed a scoreless inning to preserve the shutout.
Granton is now 1-9 overall and in the Cloverbelt East.
Mitch Susa went 3-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBIs, and Pilz, Ivacic, Brostowitz and Lenz each added two hits for the Rocket.s Pilz drove in four runs.
Spencer hosts Neillsville on Friday.
