STEVENS POINT – Stevens Point Pacelli scored two runs in the fourth, fifth and sixth innings to edge Auburndale 6-4 in a WIAA Division 3 baseball regional quarterfinal Tuesday at Bukholt Park.
Auburndale scored twice in the top of the first inning and led until Pacelli tied it in the fourth.
The Apaches responded with two runs in the top of the fifth only to see Pacelli tie it again in the bottom of the inning and win it with two in the sixth.
Logan Willfahrt went 3-for-3 with an RBI and Wyatt Weiler was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs for Auburndale (5-11).
Pacelli (17-7) moves on to a Division 3 regional semifinal Wednesday at No. 1 seed Marathon. Pacelli statistics were not provided.
