MADISON – The Marshfield doubles team of juniors Bryce Gadke and Jacob Limmex won the first set but couldn’t hold on, dropping a three-set match Thursday at the 2014 WIAA State Individual Boys Tennis Tournament at Nielsen Tennis Stadium.
Gadke and Limmex lost to Neenah’s Alec Becker and Grant Mauthe 3-6, 6-0, 10-7, in a first-round match at the state tournament Thursday afternoon.
The Marshfield duo finishes the season with a 12-5 record.
