MOSINEE – The Auburndale girls and boys track and field teams finished third on Thursday at the Mosinee Invitational.
The Auburndale girls totaled 33 points and the boys had 29 points to finish ahead of Colby on each side in the four-team meet.
Danica Harrison won the 1,600 meters in 5:44.25 and the 3,200 in 12:40.36, and Kelly Tomfohrde took first in the pole vault with a vault of 8-6 for Auburndale’s three first-place finishes.
David Haas was second in the 3,200 (10:59.27) and Adam Bauer was second in the discus (115-7) for the Apaches boys top finishes. Jake Dorshorst took third in the 300 hurdles (43.83).
Auburndale will compete in the Wood County Meet on Tuesday at Pittsville.
