Stratford softball whips Rib Lake

STRATFORD – Macie Frueh had three hits and six other Stratford players had two hits each as the Tigers rolled to a 12-2 win over Rib Lake in a nonconference softball game Tuesday at Hilgemann Field.

Alexis Hofmann hit a home run and drove in three runs, Sammy Griesbach and Kaylee Geiger each had two hits and two RBIs, and Dallas Adams, Brettnay Bredemann, and Casey Kolbeck also had two hits apiece for Stratford (20-4).

Lorrie Luepke earned the win for the Tigers, striking out six in five innings. Both of Rib Lake’s runs were unearned.

Stratford hosts Gilman in a nonconference game on Thursday to wrap up its regular season.
