MARSHFIELD – Bo Howard, Justin Rayburn and Drew Spaeth each had a pair of hits to lift the Marshfield Chaparrals baseball team to a 9-6 win over the Abbotsford Merchants on Monday at Jack Hackman Field.
Aaron Schwecke struck out nine and walked four in seven innings. Eric Pritzl tossed two scoreless innings to earn the win as the Chaps pulled ahead late.
Howard had three RBIs for the Chaparrals, who improve to 5-1 overall and 5-0 in the Dairyland League.
Marshfield’s next game is Wednesday at Everest.
