Edgar shuts out Auburndale football

EDGAR – The Auburndale football team dropped its second-straight game, losing 43-0 at Edgar in a Marawood Conference game Friday night at Edgar High School.

The Apaches were blanked for the second game in a row and fall to 0-2 overall and in the Marawood.

Edgar pitched its second-straight shutout after beating Chequamegon 46-0 in Week 1.

Auburndale hosts Rib Lake/Prentice on Sept. 4.

The Apaches were held to just 63 total yards, including 20 yards rushing on 23 carries.

Kurt Jankowski led the defense with 11 tackles and an interception.
