Stratford girls basketball blows past Rib Lake

STRATFORD – Sammy Griesbach scored a game-high 15 points as the Stratford girls basketball team rolled past Rib Lake 44-19 in a nonconference matchup Tuesday night at Stratford High School.

The Tigers held Rib Lake (2-5) to just nine points in the first half and opened up an 11-point lead at intermission.

Andie Zuelke scored all eight of her points in the second half for Stratford as it built on its double-digit advantage.

Stratford (6-1) is off until Monday when hosts Wisconsin Rapids Assumption as part of a Marawood Conference South Division doubleheader. The girls play at 5:45 p.m. with the boys to follow at approximately 7:30 p.m.
