Spencer boys basketball uses 51-point first half to cruise past Granton

GRANTON – Sophomore Jack Bezlyk scored a career-high 23 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lift the Spencer boys basketball team to a resounding 87-47 blowout victory over Granton in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game Tuesday at Granton High School.

Jacob Miller added 19 points and Bobby Pilz had 18 points, four steals and five rebounds for the Rockets, who improve to 3-1 overall and 2-0 in the Cloverbelt East.

Mike Meddaugh had 17 points and seven rebounds to lead Granton (0-6, 0-4 Cloverbelt East).

Spencer hosts Loyal on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
