Pittsville uses five forfeits to beat Auburndale wrestling

AUBURNDALE – Pittsville won five matches by forfeit and three others by pin to defeat Auburndale 48-30 in a Marawood Conference wrestling dual on Thursday night at Auburndale High School.

Auburndale won five matches, four by pin and one by forfeit. Trayton Weister (113 pounds), Dylan Altmann (152), Keller Wolfe (170) and Kurt Jankowski (220) all won by pin, with the final three earning falls in the first period of their matches.

Auburndale will host its annual tournament on Saturday.
