WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Auburndale girls basketball team suffered its first loss of the season, falling 64-53 at Wisconsin Rapids Assumption on Thursday in a Marawood Conference South Division game.
Gena Grundhoffer scored 22 points to lead the Royals (5-2, 3-1 Marawood South).
Auburndale drops to 5-1 overall and 2-1 in the Marawood South. Auburndale statistics were not provided.
The Apaches host Pittsville on Monday.
