Columbus Catholic boys basketball still perfect after win at Colby

COLBY – Evan Nikolai had 23 points and Tyler Fuerlinger added 21 to lead the Columbus Catholic boys basketball team to an 86-68 victory over Colby in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game Friday night at Colby High School.

The Dons remain unbeaten and are now 7-0 overall and 4-0 in the Cloverbelt East. Colby drops to 3-3 and 3-2 in the conference.

Columbus ran out to a 44-29 lead by halftime and maintained its double-digit lead in the second half.

Nick Malovrh added 19 points and Hunter Schultz had 13 points for the Dons.

Columbus Catholic is at Granton on Monday.
