Stratford girls basketball dominates Pittsville, moves to 8-0

STRATFORD – The Stratford girls basketball team held Pittsville to three made field goals and rolled to a 58-7 victory in a Marawood Conference South Division game Monday night at Stratford High School.

The win is the Tigers’ eighth in a row to start the season and they are now 4-0 in the Marawood South. Pittsville drops to 0-8 and 0-5 in the conference.

All 10 Tigers that played scored in the game, with Taya Nett the only one to reach double digits with 14 points.

Stratford will play at Marathon, which is 3-0 in the Marawood South, on Thursday.
