Marshfield boys basketball rolls to road win at Wisconsin Rapids

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – A dominating first half led to a big victory for the Marshfield boys basketball team.

Marshfield outscored Wisconsin Rapids 32-8 in the first half and cruised to a 55-32 victory in a Wisconsin Valley Conference game Friday night at Lincoln High School.

Seth Anderson scored 19 points and grabbed six rebounds, and Brant Bohman made three 3-pointers and added 13 points for the Tigers, who are now 3-4 and 1-1 in the Wisconsin Valley Conference.

Marshfield made 7 of 17 3-pointers and 10 of 12 free throws in the victory.

The Tigers return to action Tuesday at home against Merrill.
