MARSHFIELD – Emma Haugen won two events and the all-around title as the Marshfield gymnastics team defeated Wisconsin Rapids 131.625-110.8 in a Great Northern Conference Large Division dual meet Thursday night at Marshfield High School.
Haugen won the floor exercise with a score of 9.0 and the vault with an 8.925, finished second in the uneven bars (7.7) and fourth in the balance beam (7.725) to earn the all-around title with 33.35 points.
Melanie Hafenbredl won the uneven bars (7.775) and Bailey Schmitt took first in the balance beam (8.2) as the Tigers swept the four events.
Hafenbredl also finished second in the floor (8.725), and Isabelle Jensen tied Haugen for second in the uneven bars (7.7) and took second in the balance beam (8.05) for Marshfield.
Marshfield will compete at the Antigo Invitational on Saturday.
