Marshfield boys hockey shuts out Lakeland

MINOCQUA – A.J. Trierweiler saved all 25 shots that came his way, lifting the Marshfield boys hockey team to a 4-0 shutout of Lakeland in a nonconference game Friday night at the Lakeland Ice Arena.

Max Heller and Adam Maki each in the first period, Evan Weister added a goal in the second, and Nick Urban scored on a power play in the third for the Tigers, who improve to 11-11 with the victory.

Marshfield will finish its regular-season schedule next week with home games against Rhinelander on Tuesday and Wausau West on Thursday.

Pairings for the WIAA playoffs, which begin Feb. 13, will be released on Sunday night.
