OSSEO – Spencer/Columbus had 11 top-four finishes, including seven individual champions, as it won the Cloverbelt Conference Wrestling Tournament team title on Saturday at Osseo-Fairchild High School.
The Rockets finished with 236 points, edging Cadott by 16½ points for the title.
Ashton Ackman won 4-2 in overtime over Blaine Brenner of Stanley-Boyd/Owen-Withee in the 106-pound championship match to start the parade of Rockets’ champions.
Dominick Wichlacz (113), Leo Rodriguez (120), Bryce Shaw (145), Carson Hildebrandt (170), Hunter Luepke (220), and Logan Zschernitz (285) followed with titles for Spencer/Columbus.
Shaw won by major decision, Luepke and Zschernitz earned pins, and the others won by decision in their respective championship matches.
Luepke remains undefeated this season after capturing his fourth-straight Cloverbelt title.
Jake Dick finished second at 126 pounds, Colten Schillinger (132) and Caden Schillinger (152) both took third, and Dylan Bohlinger was fourth at 138 for the Rockets.
Ackman, Wichlacz, Hildebrandt, and Zschernitz all repeated as conference champions.
Spencer/Columbus will compete at the WIAA Division 2 regional on Feb. 10 at Medford.
