Columbus Catholic girls basketball slips past Greenwood

MARSHFIELD – Marissa Immerfall made 12 of 13 free throws and scored a game-high 20 points to help lift the Marshfield Columbus Catholic girls basketball team to a narrow 42-39 victory over Greenwood on Tuesday night at Columbus Catholic High School.

Columbus Catholic led 20-17 at halftime and held on at the end to improve to 11-7 overall and 8-6 in the Cloverbelt East.

Addison Baierl chipped in 15 points for the Dons.

Columbus Catholic hosts Loyal on Friday.
