STRATFORD – Play continued in the Stratford STAR Men’s Basketball League on Sunday, with eight games in two divisions.
Here a look at the results:
A DIVISION
*Success Realty knocked off Kafka Forestry 66-59. Cain Trunkel had 27 points for Success. Reed Lehman led Kafka with 12 points.
*Neva Jean Motel beat Victory Apparel 79-67. Chris Murphy had a league-high 31 points and Lou Ashbeck added 21 for Neva Jean. Kyle Davis had 22 points for Victory Apparel.
*Oil Exchange & Auto Repair cruised past Smazal’s Hunters Choice 71-51. Brady Turner had a game-high 27 points for Oil Exchange. Matt Karl and Justin Schaefer each had 12 for Smazal’s.
*Nutz Deep II/Stoney Acres Brewery routed Financial Strategies 93-53. Branson Witucki led Nutz Deep/Stoney Acres with 27 points. Bryan Weichelt and Jake Dahlke each had 14 points for Financial Strategies.
B DIVISION
*LJ’s Sport Zone defeated Lob City 55-40. Alan Keiffer had 13 points for LJ’s and Matt Michalsen led Lob City with 17 points.
*Fairway Mortgage beat Weiler’s C-Stores 59-45. Ethan Posteluk scored 15 points for Fairway. Bowdie Krall led Weilers with 14 points.
*Chaps & Friends whipped After Hours 55-36 behind 25 points from Keith Clater. Chris Klimpke had 16 points for After Hours.
*Resource Recovery toppled Stratford Sign Co. 58-29. Kevin Spindler had 18 points for Resource. Derek Austin scored nine to lead Stratford Sign.
