AUBURNDALE – Auburndale was held to one hit and dropped a nonconference baseball game to Iola-Scandinavia 7-0 on Thursday at Auburndale High School.
Iola-Scandinavia busted open a 1-0 game with a six-run sixth inning.
Cason Schmutzer had a double for the Apaches’ only hit.
Cam Ertl took the loss for Auburndale (8-6), allowing eight hits and three walks, while striking out three.
Auburndale hosts Prentice for a nonconference game on Friday.
