SPENCER – Austin Bacon, Hunter Luepke and Colten Schillinger each had two hits to help lift the Spencer baseball team to an 11-7 victory over Marshfield Columbus Catholic in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game Thursday at Spencer High School.

Caden Schillinger earned the win, allowing one earned run and striking out four.

Colten Schillinger drove in four runs and Luepke had three RBIs for the Rockets, who are now 7-4 overall and 5-2 in the Cloverbelt East.

Columbus Catholic drops to 2-8 and 2-5 in conference play. Statistics for the Dons were not provided.

Spencer hosts Gilman and Columbus plays at Neillsville on Friday.
