Stratford boys basketball dominates Assumption, improves to 10-0

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Stratford boys basketball team held Wisconsin Rapids Assumption to nine points in each half to cruised to a dominating 58-18 win over the Royals on Tuesday night at Assumption High School.

Stratford rolled out to a 40-9 lead by halftime and pushed its lead to 40 by the end.

Ben Barten had 16 points and 16 rebounds, and Vaughn Breit added 11 points for the Stratford, which remains perfect at 10-0 overall and 7-0 in the Marawood South.

Assumption falls to 1-10 overall and 1-7 in conference play.

Stratford plays at Edgar on Friday.
