Marshfield girls basketball beats Eau Claire North

MARSHFIELD – Kaydee Johnson had 17 points and nine rebounds to lead the Marshfield girls basketball team to its seventh-straight win on Tuesday as the Tigers cruised to a 49-36 win over Eau Claire North at Marshfield High School.

Marshfield pulled out to a 26-16 lead by halftime and held on from there.

Marshfield shot just 27 percent (14-for-51) from the field but made 15 of 19 free throws and had six 3-pointers in the win.

Maddie Michaelis added 14 points for the Tigers, who improve to 11-5.

Marshfield returns to action Friday at D.C. Everest.
