Tomahawk edges Marshfield hockey

TOMAHAWK – Brett Bowman had a hat trick but the Marshfield boys hockey team came up short, losing a nonconference game to Tomahawk 5-4 on Thursday night.

Brett Baur also added a goal, and Travis Kersten and Ryan Gruen had assists for the Tigers (7-10).

David Kluball had 24 saves in goal for Marshfield.

Two of Bowman’s goals came on power plays.

Dylan Dahl, Matt Gerber, Jared Hansen, Tyler Saindon and Seth Wescott scored for Tomahawk.

Marshfield is home against Park Falls on Friday at 7 p.m.
