Columbus Catholic girls basketball has six-game win streak snapped at Loyal

LOYAL – Loyal hit seven 3-pointers, four from Katlyn Lindner, and cruised to a 55-33 win over Marshfield Columbus Catholic in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division girls basketball game Friday night at Loyal High School.

Savannah Schley scored a game-high 15 points and Lindner finished with 12 for Loyal, which improves to 10-3 overall and 9-2 in the Cloverbelt East.

Kelsey Moore had nine points and Maggie Callaghan added eight for the Dons, who had their six-game winning streak snapped and falls to 9-9 overall and 8-4 in conference play.

Columbus plays at Neillsville on Monday.
