Columbus Catholic volleyball sweeps Greenwood, clinches share of Cloverbelt East title

MARSHFIELD – The Columbus Catholic volleyball team clinched at least a share of the Cloverbelt Conference East Division championship with a 3-0 sweep of Greenwood on Tuesday at Columbus Catholic High School.

The Dons won 25-10, 25-17, 25-13, to improve to 6-0 in the conference. They have not lost a set in Cloverbelt East play this season. Greenwood is now 2-4.

Dorci Walker had 20 kills, 10 digs and four service aces, Courtney Sommer had 19 assists, nine kills and nine digs, Lily Stratman had 14 assists, and Izzy Hoglund had 15 digs for Columbus Catholic.

Greenwood statistics were not reported.

Both teams finish their conference schedules Thursday. Columbus Catholic will be at Spencer and Greenwood will host Gilman. Greenwood’s match will be live at zaleskisports.com.
