STRATFORD – The Stratford volleyball team finished its Marawood Conference South Division schedule with a 3-1 loss to Edgar on Tuesday at Stratford High School.

Stratford won the first set 25-23 before Edgar rallied to win the next three, 25-16, 25-17, 25-18.

Edgar finishes in second place in the Marawood South at 4-1, and Stratford ends up third at 2-3.

Tessa Berg had nine kills, Megan Wiese added six kills, Hailey Chapel had 14 assists, three service aces and six digs, and Ally Zuleger had 13 assists for Stratford.

Edgar statistics were not reported.

Edgar will host a six-team tournament on Saturday before both teams finish their regular-season schedules at the Marawood Crossover Challenge at Marathon on Oct. 12.
