Auburndale girls basketball tops Wauwatosa West at home tournament

AUBURNDALE – Gracie Krings made four 3-pointers and scored a team-high 16 points to lead the Auburndale girls basketball team to a 52-42 win over Wauwatosa West in a semifinal of the Auburndale Holiday Girls Basketball Tournament on Monday afternoon at Auburndale High School.

Annamarie Aue added 12 points and Aliah Hamus chipped in nine for the Eagles, who made eight 3-pointers in the win.

Annamaria Luna scored 24 points for Wauwatosa West (4-4).

West will play Neillsville in the third-place game at 1 p.m. and Auburndale (8-1) will take on undefeated Mosinee (11-0) in the championship game at 3 p.m. as the tournament concludes Tuesday. Both games will be live at zaleskisports.com.
