HUDSON – The Marshfield girls swimming team’s season came to an end Saturday at the WIAA Division 1 sectionals at Hudson Middle School.
The Tigers did not have anyone qualify for the WIAA State Girls Swimming Championships, which will be held Saturday, Nov. 13 at the University of Wisconsin Natatorium in Madison.
The winners of each event and the top 18 times among the non-winners qualify for the state meet.
Emma Holbrook had Marshfield’s top performance, finishing sixth in the 100-meter backstroke with a time of 1:03.56.
Carly Barker had the Tigers’ only other top-10 finish, taking eighth in the 200 freestyle in 2:08.26.
Laura Josephson was 12th in the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:27.52 for Marshfield.
