MERRILL – The Marshfield boys basketball team remain undefeated in the Wisconsin Valley Conference after blowing past Merrill 78-47 on Tuesday night at Merrill High School.

The Tigers raced out to a 42-27 lead by halftime and built on that, outscoring Merrill by 16 in the second half.

Marshfield is now 9-4 overall and a perfect 7-0 in the Wisconsin Valley Conference. Merrill falls to 6-10 and 2-5 in the conference.

Luke LeMoine scored a season-high 22 points, and Gavin Fravert added 15 points and 14 rebounds for the Tigers.

Marshfield hosts D.C. Everest on Friday at 7:15 p.m. The game will be broadcast live at zaleskisports.com.
