WAUSAU – The Stratford baseball team remain undefeated in the Marawood Conference South Division after a doubleheader sweep of Wausau Newman Catholic on Tuesday at Brockmeyer Park.
Stratford won 9-4 and 10-1 to improve 3-1 overall and 3-0 in the Marawood South. Newman is now 1-2 and 0-2 in the conference.
Stratford will play a nonconference game at Stanley-Boyd on Thursday at 5 p.m. Newman Catholic will be back in action Friday at home against Phillips in a nonconference matchup.
