MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic baseball team finished off an undefeated Cloverbelt Conference East Division championship season with a 14-3 win over Loyal on Tuesday at Jack Hackman Field.

Emmitt Konieczny struck out five in 4 1/3 innings of work to pick up the win for the Dons, who are now 15-1 overall and finish the Cloverbelt East season at 10-0. He also had two hits and two RBIs in the victory.

Cole Timmler had a single, a triple and four RBI, Cy Becker was 3-for-3 and scored three runs, and Brock Bennington had two hits, two RBI and three runs scored as well for Columbus Catholic.

Columbus Catholic will play a nonconference game at Rib Lake on Thursday.
