SPENCER – Spencer blew a six-run lead but was able to pull out an extra-inning victory, defeating Neillsville 11-10 in nine innings in a wild Cloverbelt Conference East Division baseball game Tuesday at Spencer High School.

Spencer led 9-3 after an eight-run third inning only to see Neillsville rally with three runs in both the sixth and seventh innings to force extras.

Following a scoreless eighth inning, the Warriors plated a run in the top of ninth when Gunnar Barth scored on an error, Spencer’s seventh of the game.
