Marshfield’s Sainterme earns academic all-state honor from Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association

Marshfield High School senior Ava Sainterme was selected to the Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association Academic All-State first team for the 2022 season.

Sainterme is the second player in program history to be selected to first team, joining Nina Hashimoto (2019). She is the only representative from the Wisconsin Valley Conference this season.

Sainterme will attend Brown University in Providence, R.I., majoring in chemistry and philosophy.

This award is for any deserving seniors who meet the minimum criteria of two years on varsity, a minimum 3.85 GPA and a minimum ACT score of 29, and must be nominated by an active WSCA member coach.
