Auburndale softball loses regular-season finale to Stevens Point Pacelli

AUBURNDALE – The Auburndale softball team dropped its regular-season finale at home to Stevens Point Pacelli 11-5 on Thursday at Auburndale High School.

The Cardinals (22-1) pounded out 12 hits, including home runs from Sydney Gavin and Kaylin Yenter.

Myra Krings had two hits and two RBI, and Ashlyn Grimm also had a pair of hits for the Eagles, who are now 13-4.

Auburndale will host Necedah in a WIAA Division 4 regional semifinal Tuesday at 4:45 p.m.
