Marshfield girls basketball roughs up Wausau East for sixth-straight victory

WAUSAU – Marshfield dominated the first half, outscoring Wausau East by 25 points, and rolled to a 69-45 win in a Wisconsin Valley Conference girls basketball game Tuesday night at East High School.

The Tigers cruised out to a 43-18 lead by halftime and held on from there, winning their sixth-straight game.

Ashley Grancorvitz scored 19 points and Emma Ridgway had 12 on 6-for-7 shooting for Marshfield (7-1 overall, 4-0 Wisconsin Valley Conference).

Marshfield travels to Holmen for a nonconference game Thursday.
