Marshfield freshman football rolls past D.C. Everest

WESTON – Marshfield quarterback Ryan Krueger had quite a day.

Krueger threw for four touchdowns, ran for another, and made six of seven extra point kicks to lead the Marshfield freshman football team to a 41-6 win over D.C. Everest on Thursday.

Mason Coffren and Jackson Ott each caught two touchdown passes, and Coffren ran for another for the Tigers.

Sam Haessly recovered two fumbles as the Tigers had six fumble recoveries in all. Nolan Hertel led the team in tackles and also had an interception. Justin Kuse, Justin Stanek, Bently Schwanebeck-Osterman and Austin Mientke also recovered fumbles for Marshfield.
