Point-Rapids-Marshfield girls hockey loses at home to Fond du Lac

MARSHFIELD – Fond du Lac scored twice in the first period and held off Point-Rapids-Marshfield to win 3-1 in a nonconference girls hockey game Friday at the Marshfield Youth Ice Arena.

Point-Rapids-Marshfield (7-7) managed one goal midway through the third period when Emily Nolan scored off an assist from Alayna Bruneau.

Pistol Cowden had 21 saves in goal for PRM.

Point-Rapids-Marshfield plays a pair of home games next week in Stevens Point. Monday the Red Panthers host Appleton Xavier and Thursday they play against Rhinelander/Antigo, before heading to River Falls for a game next Saturday.
