SPENCER – Tyler Peterson threw a five-inning two-hit shutout as the Spencer baseball team defeated Greenwood 11-0 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game Thursday at Spencer High School.

Peterson struck out 12 and walked three in the shutout win for the Rockets, who are now 4-6 overall and 2-3 in the Cloverbelt East.

Reed Knecht, Peterson and Zack Roehrborn each had two hits and two RBI in the victory for Spencer.

Spencer will host Gilman on Friday at 5 p.m.
