MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic soccer team made it five-straight WIAA Division 4 regional championships with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over La Crosse Aquinas on Saturday afternoon in a regional final match at Griese Park.
The No. 1-seeded Dons (18-4-1) earn a rematch with No. 2 Arcadia in a sectional semifinal Thursday at Griese Park at 4 p.m. Arcadia beat Columbus 7-5 in a wild sectional semifinal a year ago.
McDonell/Regis will host Barron in the other sectional semifinal, with the winners moving on to the sectional finals on Oct. 28 at Arcadia at 1 p.m.
