Marshfield wins three events at Wisconsin Valley Conference JV Girls Indoor Track & Field Meet

MARSHFIELD – More than 400 athletes from seven schools competed at the 2024 Wisconsin Valley Conference JV Girls Indoor Track & Field Meet on Thursday at Marshfield High School.

The Tigers had 63 girls competing in the event, with three taking home conference titles.

Erika Sleznikow won the 60-yard hurdles in 10.06 seconds, Alyssa Foemmel was first in the 60-yard dash in 7.62 seconds and Marshfield’s 4×440 (mile) relay team of Keara Ronning, Alana Schoen, Lily Adler and Adeline Lonsdale won in 4:53.21.

Earning runner-up finishes for Marshfield were Taiya Lang in the mile (6:37.93), Adler in the 440 (1:10.61) and Ryann Kilty in the 220 (31.14).

Marshfield also had third-place finishes from Abigail Cera in the shot put (27-7.75), Peyton Daul in the triple jump (29-0.25), Sleznikow in the pole vault (7-6), Olivia Sommers in the 60 hurdles (10.66), Hannah Ridgway and Ava Forst in the 60 (7.96), Miriam McKee in the mile (6:41.78), the 4×320 relay team of Sleznikow, Kylie Laufenberg, Alana Schoen and Ashley Jaeger (3:24.11). and the 4×160 relay team of Kaylie Charron, Daul, Foemmel and Alivia Dietsche.
